Everywhere! Show your support for Philly Public Schools by donning your “Dress Down Day” t-shirt and mask on May 21st! Post pics of you and your friends, loved ones, colleagues on your social media – remember to use the following hashtags:

Why participate in Dress Down Day?

Proceeds from “Dress Down Day for Philly Public Schools” meet the direct needs of various public schools in Philadelphia. By giving a donation and participating in “Dress Down Day for Philly Public Schools”, participants are strengthening communities, enhancing neighborhood schools, and investing in our youth.

Who organized this?

“Dress Down Day for Philly Public Schools” is organized by The Goldenberg Group and The Fund for the School District of Philadelphia.

Who can participate?

Everyone! Those who believe in Philly public education and want all schools to thrive and have equal opportunities for learning support Dress Down Day. Members of the Philadelphia corporate community as well as anyone who loves the City of Philadelphia are all encouraged to participate! We can’t wait to see you wearing your t-shirt proudly on Dress Down Day and posting about why YOU support Philly public education!

How do I buy a t-shirt for myself and/or my family?

CLICK HERE to purchase t-shirts and select a school to support. Be sure to remind friends and family to join you in buying shirts and supporting Philly public schools!

Deadline to purchase your shirt (to receive in time for Dress Down Day) is Friday, May 7th, 2021.

How do I buy t-shirts for my company’s employees?

Contact Kate Morrow at kmorrow@goldenberggroup.com to coordinate your bulk order step-by-step. Once your company has selected the number of shirts and/or masks it would like to purchase, employees will be given a promo code so they can select their individual shirt size, shipping address, and school to support.

What about matching gifts?

A company can choose to match the contributions of their employees. If you’re an employee interested in a match, talk to your employer. If you’re a company interested in setting up matching program, contact Kate Morrow at kmorrow@goldenberggroup.com.

How will I get my t-shirt?

All participants who purchase their shirt or mask online by May 7th will have their t-shirt mailed to the address they provided.

Is my contribution tax deductible?

The Fund for the School District of Philadelphia is a non-profit, 501c3, which means the portion of your purchase for which you are not receiving a good or service is tax deductible.

What is the quality of the shirt?

The Dress Down t-shirt from Bella+Canvas is a pre-shrunk, premium 90% airlume combed and ringspun cotton/10% poly blend featuring retail fit and unisex sizing – guaranteed to be one of the softest in your t-shirt collection. Sizes range from XS-3XL.

What is the quality of the mask?

NOTE: Mask does not meet N95 mask standards. No guarantee item will protect from illness. Mask should be worn atop medical mask for best protection.
